With his innovative approach to training and his commitment to helping athletes achieve their full potential, Tim has earned a reputation as a true trailblazer with tremendous vision in the world of sports and fitness training.

Early Beginnings:                                                                                                                                                                                        Tim's passion for playing sports began while participating in various High School athletics. Tim had success playing QB and DB in High School, He was also a All-State Track Champion as well as a Golden Gloves Boxing Champion. As a College Football player he quickly recognized the importance of speed, agility, and strength in achieving success on the playing field. This realization inspired Tim to study exercise science and biomechanics, laying the groundwork for his own personal speed training.

1990 - The Birth of Speedster Athletics:                                                                                                                                     After years of research and hands-on experience, Tim Newman founded Speedster Athletics in 1990 with a clear mission: to revolutionize the way athletes and fitness enthusiasts would train by focusing on speed development, functional strength, and injury prevention. With his extensive knowledge and practical  understanding of being in top physical condition, Tim designed and started marketing the innovative Speedster Training System. A few years later while training other aspiring athletes Tim continued to design and develop a variety training devices for both athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

1995 - The Invention of Resistance Band Safety Sleeve Technology:                                                                      Out of the need to protect athletes from Resistance Bands that snapped, Tim through much research and development ultimately came up with the idea to   cover the resistance band with a protective sleeve introducing Safety Sleeve Technology. Not only did the Safety Sleeve protect the user it also prolonged the life of the internal band by shielding it from harmful UV Rays that can quickly breakdown the band and from foreign objects coming into contact with a unprotected band.

2007 - The Launch of Worldwide Fitness Products:                                                                                                         After many years focusing on the world of sports training Tim saw the future of using Safety Sleeve Technology in the increasing use of Resistance Bands for general fitness. In 2007 he launched Worldwide Fitness Products to bring his technology and innovation to the World of Fitness, therefore the inspiration for the company name, Worldwide Fitness Products.

2010 - Manufacturing Expansion:                                                                                                                                                    This opened up many new markets for the company including being sought out by other top brands who wanted to use Safety Sleeve Technology for their   own products and desired to have the Made In USA quality supporting their brands. Tim has helped many other Top Brands design, develop and private label manufacture products used across the globe today.

2019 - USPTO Patent Issued on New Band Connection:                                                                                               With the Goal of continually improving the life and longevity of the Worldwide Fitness Resistance Bands Tim continued to make improvements over several years before finally settling on a design the would greatly improve the life quality of Resistance Bands. Being the only company to have actually had their   products reviewed and tested by an Independent Laboratory that produced resulted in the bands design lasting beyond 150,000 pulls.

A Commitment to Education and Community:                                                                                                                     Tim Newman's dedication to the success of athletes and general fitness enthusiasts goes beyond designing effective products and training programs. He is also a strong advocate for God, Family and Community. Tim frequently conducts workshops and seminars, sharing his knowledge and expertise with coaches, trainers, and athletes across the country. He is passionate about giving back to the community and is actively involved in charitable initiatives that promote youth sports, fitness and responsible life styles.
